I Was There - Yasiel Puig's First MLB Game

I had to be at Dodger Stadium to witness Yasiel Puig's first game. I just had to be there. So off I went with my son. This was only my fourth game that I have seen in person. I didn't buy season tickets or any type of mini plans like in previous years. It's just difficult to go to any games when you have a kid and then my wife arrives home late from work. Plus I'm old, I get too tired if I go often.

We got there early before the gates open.

Here's my son playing with Deuce.

Right away inside the stadium, an employee gives a ball to my son. This is cool.

Thank you sir.

Kids corral. I didn't even go. My son was too hyper. Plus I didn't see anyone sign autographs.

Pau Gasol was there. He signed a lot of autographs. I didn't try.

Do you see the ball? That's about to be a hit. Need to print it and get it signed by Puig.

We didn't see "The Throw" by Puig. We left early. But my son had a good time and that's the important thing. And I had a good time too in getting a few autographs. I didn't even try and still managed to get a few. Thanks to David for the Landreaux card and helping me with Ryu.

Thanks to everyone that said hello! Nice meeting everyone. It seems no one recognized me because most said "You must be Roberto because I recognized your son". Ha!

One last thing, I spoke to one of Puig's representatives and he told me they are working on a signing event. It's going to happen. I'll keep you updated.

Thanks for reading.
