Matt Kemp gives fan his hat, jersey and shoes!

I almost cried seeing this video last night.

This YouTube video was uploaded yesterday by 'stayinhigh4209'

It was shot last weekend in San Francisco when the Dodgers played at AT&T field.

Matt Kemp is such a great person. He came over after the game and made one of my best friends night :) he's fighting a tough battle and this was such a great gift by Matt Kemp ! I'll never forget this.

Kemp gives the fan a signed ball. Then he gives him his hat. That's not the end, he gives him his jersey and shoes!

Awesome.

Props to Matt Kemp, and my prayers to the young man. He is the true champ, not the men hitting homeruns, or throwing game winning TDs, but him battling every day with courage and an unwavering positive spirit.

I am a die hard Giants fan but now I am also a fan of the man that Matt Kemp is. His sincere gesture is the way all young Pro Athletes should emulate.

I saw an ESPN Special on Kemp a few years ago and had much respect for him, but this takes it to another level. As a die-hard Giants Fan I see that he has a great heart and sees more to life than just baseball. Should any of my sons stray from the orange and black, I would be honored to have them wear your jersey.
