Don Sutton Bobblehead Added to 2013 Promotiona​l Schedule

The Dodgers have announced that Don Sutton will be the fourth bobblehead during the 2013 season.  This is the final player to be announced for the 2013 season, and is set to be distributed on June 6 at 7:10 pm vs. Atlanta. The first 50,000 fans with a ticket on June 6 will receive a Sutton bobblehead. This is the first Dodger Stadium bobblehead for Sutton.

The Clio, Alabama native broke in with the Dodgers in 1966 and pitched 16 seasons for Los Angeles. Sutton owns several franchise pitching records, including wins (233), starts (533), games (550), strikeouts (2,696), innings pitched (3,814.0) and shutouts (52),  Over the course of his career, the right-hander amassed several awards including four All-Star nods, the 1976 Lou Gehrig Memorial Award and 1977 All-Star Game MVP Award. Sutton was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1998 and had his uniform number 20 retired by the Dodgers that same year. Sutton is now a radio broadcaster for the Atlanta Braves and will be honored in pregame ceremonies on June 6 before the Dodgers’ 7:10 pm start vs. the Braves.

Bobbleheads of Dodgers past and present are scheduled throughout the 2013 season. The collection includes “I See You” Hanley Ramirez on April 30 (vs. COL), Matt Kemp on May 14 (vs. WAS), Jaime Jarrín on May 25 (vs. STL), Sandy Koufax on June 27 (vs. PHI), Adrian Gonzalez on July 11 (vs. COL), Vin Scully on July 25 (vs. CIN), Hideo Nomo on Aug. 10 (vs. TB), a “flag saving” Rick Monday on Aug. 27 (vs. CHI) and Magic Johnson on Sept. 12 (vs. SF).

about time. Is he the only Dodgers HOF'er that doesn't have one? Also I heard Tommy's Burgers is coming to Dodger Stadium also amazing amazing news!

I'm more excitied over Tommy's Burger if that's true. Hopefully King Taco is next, and get the Doyer Dog and the other gourmet Dodgers dogs at every level.

As long as they get rid of bleh Carl's Jr., and Panda Express. They remind me of Frank McCourt's cheapness.
