Dodgertown Links: Tickets, Medina, Kasten, Ethier, Koufax

First of all, since many have asked.... I'm not going to the FanFest. I just can't do it. I feel better and eating better but I just don't have that energy to stand in line all day. Plus I'm worried about the weather since I have a cough. Hopefully next year. I hope everyone has a good time! Let me know how it went.

News around the web!

Actual fan fest was fun as long as you didn't go to autograph line fest. What's funny was while everyone was standing in the obnoxious line for a autograph wristband, a lot of the old timers like Ron Cey, Bill Russell, and Paul Lo Duca were signing at the JC Penny booth with little to no wait. I just stayed there all day, and the longest line I had to make for a autograph was 5 minutes. The beer garden was amazing this year, lots of photos booths, had amazing prizes (got a Dodgers scraf), and best of all there was a ton of free beer sampling. Didn't even need to buy beer because the free beer did the trick.

Overall this fan fest was more organized and had more (free) stuff than the last fan fest. I want to say if you are a auto seeker it's not worth coming to this unless you are a season ticket holder, but I was able to get autos without a wristband.

Someone needs to email pictures of the non season ticket holder autograph wristbanbd line. It's was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen for a signing.

FanFest was nuts but worth it. The lines were crazy but with a little covert ops the impossible became possible. I was able to get Punto, Mcgwire, Guerra, Valenzuela, Mark Ellis, League, Mattingly, Lo Duca, Tim Wallach, Ryu. I was there for 6 hours. Camelback ranch had a booth setup and they were passing out a coupon buy one ticket get one free for spring training so i bought my tickets at half price so my sons were basically free. Great event great people good times...
