Yasiel Puig had been out since December 1. He suffered a knee injury in his apartment. He returned last night and went 1-4 with a RBI for Indios de Mayaguez in Puerto Rico.
It's a small sample but in 9 games he is hitting .273 1 HR 7 RBI's. The bad stat is the 13 strike-outs in 33 at-bats.
Puig is planning to leave Puerto Rico in early January.
