Newsletter from Arise Africa -

Dear Arise Africa Supporters,

Welcome again to our monthly newsletter! We promise to not attack your inbox with updates.

Arise Africa had a great October and we have many awesome opportunities for the holidays!  Please read and consider getting involved.

Photo Book - The photo book is HERE!  We are so excited and if you ordered one you should already have it or expect to see it in the mail within a week.  We still need help selling about 100 more, please order one or tell your friends.  ALL proceeds go back to Arise Africa and our general fund.  These make great Christmas presents too!

Kershaw's Challenge - We are land owners!!  We have purchased some land to build the orphanage in a great neighborhood in Lusaka, Zambia.  The purchasing went very smoothly and thank you for your prayers.  We are working with architects to start the plans and are excited for our next steps.  Clayton has received a Gold Glove award and we are very happy for him.  We also received a $10,000 check from the Dodgers!

Christmas Catalog - We have launched our first ever, Arise Africa Christmas Catalog.  Please take a look online or if you received a catalog in the mail.  We would love your support this holiday season.  There are many options of buying school supplies, shoes, etc... for kids we work with daily. We can send you cards to give to loved ones showing your gift in their honor.

January Mission Trip - This January we will be taking around 30 people from Park Cities Presbyterian church on a mission trip.  This is their college ministry going and we will be holding a kids Bible camp in Zambia.  We have around 3,000 pounds of luggage to pack and need your help!  We are looking for kids clothes, school supplies, soaps, lotions, and toothpaste to take over.  If you have any of these items that could be donated in Dallas or San Antonio PLEASE contact us for drop off locations and we can try to come to you.  We need your help!!

Last month we asked you for prayers for our "growing pains."  We are making great progress with these issues and we ask you to continue to pray for the growth of Arise Africa and the changes that will be happening in the future.

We also ask you to pray for success of the Christmas catalog as well as the remaining book sales.  These have the potential of being great resources for us.
Once again, NONE of this would be possible without your support and generosity.  We can't thank you enough for your help, partnership, and investment with Arise Africa!  Please continue to pray for us!
