Justin Sellers Appearance @ Valley Sports Cards Postponed. On to Arizona Fall League?

Justin Sellers was scheduled to sign autographs on November 12 at Valley Sports Cards in Tarzana. {linked here}

I just received the following e-mail from Valley Sports Cards. -

Justin Sellers will accept the opportunity to play in the Arizona Fall League and will therefore be unable to fulfill his scheduled in-store signing on November 12th. Sorry to those who had been looking forward to the event (as we were) but we're currently looking for a date in December to reschedule. We'll pass along information on a new date ASAP.

Arizona Fall League? That's weird. The AFL ends on November 17. I don't see why Sellers would participate so late if it's going to end in three weeks.

I would understand if he's going to Mexico, Dominican Republic, Venezuela or Puerto Rico for winter ball since that doesn't end till January.

I checked the AFL site and there is no mention of Sellers.

Either way, this appearance has been postponed!

I'm sure it's because no one wants to pay for him to sign stuff yet. He's done some good stuff - but 20 bucks or whatever for Sellers is pretty crazy. Hell I just paid 10 bucks for Rollie Fingers and he's in the HOF.

I really don't know if that's the reason but I do agree with you about the price. You can just get him for free at Dodger Stadium. I did.

But I'm always posting upcoming appearances. It doesn't matter if it's free or paid events. Someone is always interested.
