40/40 might have to wait for next season

Game coming up against the Giants....

There is 8 games left in this season and to be honest, I don't see Matt Kemp hitting 6 homers to finish with 40. Nothing is impossible but it's going to be very difficult. Especially when you are going to play 3 games in pitcher friendly Petco Park this weekend.

40/40 might have to wait for next season.

Check out these stats from the Dodgers -

Matt Kemp went 2-for-4 last night for his fourth consecutive multi-hit game and also scored the Dodgers' first run to remain tied with Ryan Braun for the NL lead with 104 runs scored. Kemp also ranks among the league leaders in batting average (.321, 3rd), home runs (34, T-3rd), RBI (113, T-1st) steals (40, 2nd), on-base percentage (.399, 4th) and slugging percentage (.564, 2nd).

Amazing year for Kemp. MVP? We will have to wait and see!

If he hits two more tonight it will get very interesting. Didn't Kemp hit like 6 or so homeruns in the last week of the season last year? Who says he can't do it again?
