Upcoming Series vs Astros - Fireworks, Taiwan Night, Kids Backpacks, Viva Los Dodgers

What's going on at Dodger Stadium for the upcoming series against the Houston Astros?

Friday August 12 - 7:10 p.m.


Following Friday’s game, fans can enjoy Friday Night Fireworks from the field, presented by Pizza Hut. Fans will be able to take in fireworks at Dodger Stadium following all three remaining Friday home games this season.

Twelve-year-old Actress and Broadway star Carly Rose Sonenclar will sing the National Anthem and God Bless America.

Friday is the sixth annual Stitch and Pitch Night at Dodger Stadium and a group of knitters, crocheters, needlepointers and embroiderers will be at the game. Each Stitch and Pitch ticket purchased includes a Lower Reserve ticket and a Dodgers Stitch and Pitch tape measure and bag. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will go to the non-profit group Stitches from the Heart.

Saturday August 13 - 7:10 p.m.


Taiwan Night at Dodger Stadium is Saturday and the first 20,000 valid tickets will receive Hong-Chih Kuo posters, presented by Taiwan Tourism Bureau. Pregame ceremonies will also include a special tribute to the Taiwanese-American community in Los Angeles and a ticket package including a ticket to Taiwan Night, a $20 food voucher and a Taiwan Dodgers-themed fleece blanket is available online only at www.dodgers.com/taiwan.

Chad Billingsley will host a group of 10 children from Mattel’s Children’s Hospital at UCLA at Friday’s game as part of his Chad’s Champs program. Each child will receive a program t-shirt and will meet Billingsley on the field during batting practice. All participants will also receive a meal voucher courtesy of Coca-Cola.

Approximately 500 union members, friends and family will join LA Labor 411 at Saturday’s game. Each union member who purchases tickets through the group will receive an Andre Ethier fleece blanket.

Sunday August 14 - 1:10 p.m.

Ticketed children age 14 and under in attendance will receive Kids Backpacks presented by Sports Authority.

The Dodgers will celebrate 4-ALS Awareness Day by honoring members of local ALS organizations on the field before the game, including the ALS Association, Muscular Dystrophy Association and ALS Therapy Development Institute.
Sunday is a Viva Los Dodgers Day, presented by State Farm, Time Warner Cable and Chevrolet. Starting two hours prior to each Sunday game, fans can enjoy live music and a family-friendly celebration in Lot 6 and admission is free with a ticket to the game.
