Is this event going to be like the others at the Quakes games (like Maury Wills earlier this summer)? Do you need to buy a ticket to the game, or will it be outside the stadium gates? Lastly, do you know if they'll let us bring a baseball in to the game to get signed?

Sorry to bombard you with questions...

Thanks for everything, man! Keep up the good work!

Such a disappointing day. Tommy started to sign at about 4:30. He was scheduled to sign from 5-6. When we got to the front if the line at 5:00, Tommy wanted to stop and watch the game. The quakes staff informed him they were promoting him to sign from 5-6. So while he was shouting at the staff it was my turn to get my ball signed. Tommy was not happy. It was my first time meeting Tommy and he didn't look up at me or so hi. He signed the ball very sloppy and was still yelling and rolled the ball back at me and kept yelling. On top of that I had to deal with the usual idiots that sell balls and pictures prior to the signing. Of course they had made their way to the front of the line, then got back into line in front of me again to get something else signed. Today was another reminder why I hate free signings. I need to just go to the paid signings so I can keep my blood pressure in check.

Agree this was such a disorganized event. Lasorda came with a real bad attitude, people complained his signature was messy, and it seemed like he was mad at the Quakes staff. He was promoted to sign between 5-6, and the Quakes staff made it clear if you were in line by 5 you would get a autograph. Larsoda stop signing before 5:30 and about 300 to 400 or so people left mad, to which Lasorda maybe signed a 100 or so autos. The Quakes staff became pushy afterwards and didn't offer any compensations for those who had stood out in the heat for hours. One staff member started saying they would try to rebook Lasorda for next year, then two minutes later he said they would never do that again.

I must say I have never been fond of the Quakes in Single A Cal league. I've always enjoyed the 66ers and Storm more because they offer far more giveaways and their games are generaly more fun. The Quakes had a bad first year with Dodgers affliation, only one promoted bobblehead giveaway (a Dodgers stadium SGA too), one hat giveaway, a garden gnome, and a couple of other small giveaways. Even McCourt thinks that's being cheap. Some of the staff there are obviously still Angels fans, but they forgot to leave their bias at home. The entrance gate people in specific acted like they didn't want Dodgers fans there in the first place, and it wasn't like Dodgers fans were acting up.

With todays disaster I'm sure many Dodgers fans will not go back to support the Quakes, and rightfully so. I have been to many free signings and they are usually frantic with many people walking home empty handed, but this was easily by far the worst free signing I have ever been to. After this I'm actually looking foward to the far better organized LA county fair signings next month. That's how bad this event was.

i been going to events for a long time and i never been so embarrassed to be a dodger fan since yesterday at this event this was my first time meeting tommy i always thought he was the face of the dodgers no class what so ever yelling things out i took my daughter out for the first time she was sad cause of his attitude let me tell you i never want to meet him again his autograph and the time we put into this sunday was not worth it very rude signed sloppy almost as he was forced to be there i will never go to the quakes events that was my first and last time i will go there i can afford to buy any autograph i want but some times the experience feels good but no more thats why the laker events are better and more organized. i never thought i see the day that the dodgers would be the laughing stock of the mlb its worst than being a raider fan right now...
