The Dodgers Dream Foundation, in partnership with the LA84 Foundation and the Los Angeles City Department of Recreation and Parks, unveiled a new Dodgers Dreamfield this morning at Valley Plaza Park, North Hollywood.
In attendance were Dodger shortstop Dee Gordon and former Dodgers Bobby Castillo, Steve Yeager, Lee Lacy and Bill Russell.

“The LA84 Foundation is pleased to join with the Dodgers Dream Foundation and the City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks to provide a Dodgers Dreamfield at Valley Plaza Park. Every youngster who wishes to play baseball deserves a quality facility,” said LA84 Foundation Vice President of Grants and Programs Patrick Escobar. “We, the Dodgers and Recreation and Parks are doing our part to ensure youngsters have an enjoyable sports experience. We encourage the youngsters to come out and play and the parents to support their efforts.”

This is the sixth of ten Dreamfield dedications that are expected to take place in 2011. New Dreamfields that have been dedicated this year are at Northridge Recreation Center (February 15), Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center (April 2), Pecan Recreation Center (May 14), Lemon Grove Recreation Center (June 11) and Pan Pacific Park (July 21).
I was able to attend the following Dreamfields -
