By 5 a.m. the parking lots were already full.

The beginning of the line.

The end of the line.

I'm sure the line grew and grew. These shots were taken way before Kershaw arrived.
We were given wristbands around 7:40 a.m. and were inside Living Spaces an hour later. Kershaw arrived on time and started signing autographs at 10 a.m.

Kershaw signing my bobblehead at 10:45 a.m.

The bobblehead -

Hundreds and hundreds of fans went home disappointed. I didn't stay till the end but I got e-mails of angry fans. He was only there for two hours. There was no way he can sign for all these fans in two hours. No way.
It was a pleasure meeting a bunch readers. Thanks for the all kind words. I appreciate all the nice comments.
Keep checking for future appearances. Which reminds of the dude that screamed at me and said "Stop posting these appearances, look at what you did!" and points at the line.
Geez. :)

Gosh, if you got thru at 10:45, I bet there were lots of disappointed people! But hey, it's all good and shows the fan base is still there, just not at the stadium. Good talking to you!

Great seeing you today Roberto! I think 1000 people is just about right. When I left at 11:30, the line was still around the corner.
The wristband fiasco was the worst part of the morning. Surprising from Living Spaces, they usually run a tight ship.
Thanks for info Roberto... I will say that the wristband rush was unexpected and not your fault. I saw so many people that were behind me in line suddenly in front with wristbands. It is what it is. I got my stuff signed at 11:45am, I walked out at 12 and the line was still growing! Living Spaces said he was going to stay till !2:30, don't know if he did.
@ dodgerbobble - Glad you made it and got out with a signature!

Roberto I just wanted to say thanks once again for posting the info about this signing. It was because of your post I was able to find out about the signing. I got there about 4:45. Once inside the store I got to meet Clayton at about 11:40. I had him sign a baseball. He was very nice and talked a little bit. I think this was the longest I have ever waited in-line for an autograph. But it was worth it. I don't go to player apperances very often anymore, however when I saw this one come up I could not turn it down. A very fun but very long day for me.
Keep up the great work on your blog you do a great job and most importantly congrats on the birth of you new baby. I read your blog often.
Bruce
