Upcoming Series vs Reds - Kuo Bobblehead, Throwback Day, World War II Planes

What's going on at Dodger Stadium for the next three days against the Cincinnati Reds?

Monday June 13, 2011 7:10 p.m.

The KABC Street Team will be at the Reserve level gates at Dodger Stadium from 5-8pm! They'll have lots of free swag and your chance to win tickets to some upcoming Dodger games!

Tuesday June 14, 2011 7:10 p.m.

Fans at Tuesday’s game will receive Hong-Chih Kuo bobbleheads presented by Taiwan Tourism Bureau. Kuo is the longest-tenured Dodger and was the first Taiwanese All-Star. Kuo’s ERA of 1.200 last season was the lowest in Dodger history among pitchers with at least 50.0 innings pitched.

United States Olympians Logan Dooley and Khatuna Lorig, both of whom will be competing in the 2012 Olympics in London, will be recognized on the field before the game. Dooley is a trampolinist originally from Lake Forest and Lorig is an archer who is originally from the Republic of Georgia and will be competing in her fifth Olympics.

Wednesday is a Throwback Day and the Dodgers and Reds will wear 1940s throwback uniforms. In honor of the Dodgers’ 1940s-era jerseys, Condor Squadron planes will fly over the stadium during pre-game ceremonies.  The Condor Squadron salutes the men and women of our armed forces and honors the sacrifices they have made through flights in restored North American AT-6/SNJ World War II vintage aircraft. Each of the Dodgers’ throwback midweek day games features half-price food and soft drinks and remaining dates include Wednesday, June 22 vs. Detroit, Wednesday, August 10 vs. Philadelphia and Wednesday, August 31 vs. San Diego. For details or to purchase tickets, visit

The Dodgers Dream Foundation is currently auctioning off the game-worn full uniform set (cap, pants and autographed jersey) that the Dodgers wore during the May 4 throwback day game vs. the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday, May 4. The auction ends on July 11 and is live at

US Marine, Lance Corporal Chuck Sketch, who is blind and a double amputee and was the first such participant to compete in the L.A. Marathon, will throw out an honorary first pitch.

Larry Elder of “The Larry Elder Show” on TalkRadio 790 KABC will throw out a ceremonial first pitch and broadcast live for the Dodger Stadium press box before the game.
