Men in red jackets record you @ Dodger Stadium

I never got around to write a recap or post pictures from the June 1 game. Maybe I was trying to forget about it? It was the Dodgers/Rockies game at Dodger Stadium where Ubaldo Jimenez pitched a complete game shutout. It was a great performance by Jimenez. Even though the Dodgers lost, me and my brother in law still had a good time. It was his first game this season. The last time I brought him to a game, Esteban Loaiza gave him a ball. Nothing like that this time. Oh, and it was Don Mattingly Bobblehead night.

Erik knows I have a blog and I write about the Dodgers. He doesn't read the blog though. He's 16 and is more busy with girls and school. So it was hilarious when about 15 to 20 fans said hello to me throughout the night. At one point, Erik said "Who the hell are you man?".

I'm nobody.

It was announced that 36,975 fans were at the park. No chance. More like 29,000 fans.

Ramon Troncoso, Chad Billingsley and Hiroki Kuroda

Chico can play Left Field.

We kicked it next to the Dodgers bullpen.

Rubby! Rubby! Rubby!

Josh Lindblom

So quick, you can't see his face. It was great seeing his first MLB appearance.

I thought it was a minor league game.

Deuce! Readers still ask me why the Dodgers no longer show him in the Diamond Vision.

They still show this dude....

Do you see the man with the red jacket? Not sure if he's a Dodger employee or if he works for LAPD. But he and another man with the same red jacket have video cameras and will record fans. It's kinda creepy if you ask me. This is not the first time I see this.

One thing that's not creepy in my opinion is the LAPD presence. It doesn't matter to me. I know most fans are upset by this. What's the problem? Are you there to watch the game or to "people-watch"? Just watch the game and enjoy it. I seriously doubt the LAPD will hinder your experience.

I'll post pictures of the bobblehead sometime this week.

I think 29,000 is generous. That had to be the lowest attended bobblehead night ever at Dodger Stadium. It made me very sad.

BTW, what kind of camera are you using? Your pictures are amazing.

The story I've heard is that the red jacket dudes all work for the company that William Bratton runs/works with and the cameras they use have a facial recognition software to find fools like the two idiots that beat up Stow.

They're video taping fans and using intimidation as security? That is creepy. No wonder the stands are so empty. :(

@ dodgerbobble - Thanks! It's a Nikon D3100. I need lens though. I'll write a post about the camera. :)
