Following Friday’s game, fans can enjoy Friday Night Fireworks from the field, presented by Pizza Hut. Fans will be able to take in fireworks at Dodger Stadium following each Friday home game this season.

The Dodgers will recognize the boys and girls softball teams from San Fernando Valley Middle School on the field before Friday’s game as part of the Beyond the Bell/LA84 Foundation Middle School Sports Program. The program offers boys and girls at every middle school in the Los Angeles Unified School District the opportunity to participate in sports after school.  Each school sends their best team to compete at weekend regional playoffs, culminating in the District-Wide Championships. More than 18,000 LAUSD middle school boys and girls competed this year and the San Fernando Valley Middle School boys and girls softball teams were crowned as the LAUSD District-wide Champions.

Australian singer Michael Johns, who finished eighth on the seventh season of “American Idol,” will sing the National Anthem and God Bless America.

At all seven games this homestand, the Dodgers Booster Club, along with the American Red Cross, will be recruiting volunteers to sign up for the 13th Annual Dodgers-Angels Booster Club Blood Drive on Saturday, June 4. This blood drive provides Dodgers and Angels fans an opportunity to go head-to-head in a good-natured competition to help save lives and prevent a summer blood shortage and fans can donate at locations throughout Southern California. Donations from last year’s blood drive, which was won by the Dodgers Booster Club for a second consecutive year, touched over 1,800 lives. Fans can sign up at any of the American Red Cross tables at Dodger Stadium, which will be located on the Field, Reserve, Loge and Top Deck or call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit redcrossblood.org
