Chivas USA @ Viva Los Dodgers

Press release from the Dodgers -

Chivas USA and Dodgers launch a dual-ticket offer for the first time ever

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chivas USA will offer two ticket packages for the first time ever that include tickets to both a Dodger game on “Viva Los Dodgers Day” (6/19 vs. HOU at 1:10 p.m.) and a Chivas USA match at The Home Depot Center (7/16 vs. New York Red Bulls at 7:30 p.m.). This marks the first year that the Dodgers will offer a ticket package featuring a Major League Soccer match.

The Dodgers and Chivas USA $35 ticket offer includes a Preferred Field Box ticket on June 19 at Dodger Stadium and a Midfield ticket for the Chivas USA match on July 16 at The Home Depot Center, a savings of more than 56 percent off at both venues. Fans can also purchase a second ticket option and attend both games for just $20. This package includes a Lower Reserve ticket at Dodger Stadium (6/19) and a Sideline seat at The Home Depot Center (7/16).

As part of Chivas USA Day at Dodger Stadium on June 19 and starting two hours prior to the game against Houston, Chivas USA will bring their mobile experience to the “Viva Los Dodgers Day” free family festival in lot 6. Chivas USA Brand Ambassadors, ChivaGirls and Chivas USA mascot ChivaFighter will be on site. Chivas USA forward Tristan Bowen and midfielder Gerson Mayen will take photos with fans and sign autographs in the “Viva Los Dodgers” autograph tent. Chivas USA defender and member of the US National team Heath Pearce will also throw out the first pitch on June 19 at Dodger Stadium.

Pearce signed with Chivas USA earlier this year and is one of the top defenders in MLS and in the US National Team pool. He was on the squad at the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup as well as the 2009 Gold Cup, and was on the preliminary 30-man squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Pearce’s US National team Captain Carlos Bocanegra and teammate and midfielder Landon Donovan threw out first pitches at Dodger Stadium last year following the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Additionally, former Chivas USA and current US National Team defender Jonathan Bornstein threw out a first pitch last season.

June 19 is also Father’s Day presented by Farmer John at Dodger Stadium. Following the game, families will be invited onto the field for Father’s Day Catch. Fans at the game will also receive Father’s Day BBQ Aprons.

Chivas USA will celebrate Dodgers Day and the Dodgers will be on site at The Home Depot Center on July 16. Chivas USA and Dodger ticket packages are limited and can be purchased at or by calling 866-DODGERS.
