Fans at Thursday’s game will receive Purple and Gold LA Caps as the Dodgers pay tribute to the Lakers.


NBA Hall of Famers Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Bill Sharman, who also played in the Dodgers’ minor league system in the 1950s, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Long-time Lakers anthem singer and good luck charm Jeffrey Osborne will perform the National Anthem and God Bless America.


The KABC Street Team will be at the Reserve level gates at Dodger Stadium from 5-8pm! They'll have lots of free swag and your chance to win tickets to some upcoming Dodger games!

Friday April 15, 2011 7:10 p.m. Prime Ticket

Friday is Jackie Robinson Day and the Dodgers will all wear uniform number 42 in Robinson’s honor on the anniversary of the day the legendary infielder broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball. The Dodgers will celebrate Robinson during pregame ceremonies.

The KABC Street Team will be outside the Reserve Level gates at Dodger Stadium from 5-8pm! They'll have your chance to win free swag and tickets to some upcoming Dodger games!

Following Friday’s game, fans can enjoy Friday Night Fireworks from the field, presented by Pizza Hut. Fans will be able to take in fireworks at Dodger Stadium following each Friday home game this summer.


Saturday April 16, 2011 7:10 p.m. Prime Ticket


Singer Michael Grimm, the winner of last season’s “America’s Got Talent” will sing the National Anthem and God Bless America.

World Champion race car driver Mario Andretti will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Andretti will also be available in Autograph Alley from 5:30-6:15 p.m. to sign autographs for fans and take pictures with his Indy car.

Toyko Kitasuna, a championship little league team from Japan, will announce “It’s time for Dodger baseball” at the start of Saturday’s game. The Japanese team is in Los Angeles as guests of the Beach City Baseball Academy in El Segundo. The Beach City Prospects were originally scheduled to play a tournament against the Kitasuna in Japan before the tournament was cancelled as a result of the earthquake and tsunami. The Prospects then gave their airline tickets to the Kitasuna and are now hosting them in their homes in El Segundo. The Dodgers will host the Kitasuna at Saturday’s game and pitcher Hiroki Kuroda will meet with the team on the field before the game.

Sunday April 17, 2011 1:10 p.m. Prime Ticket 



Sunday is a Viva Los Dodgers Day, presented by State Farm, Time Warner Cable and Chevrolet. Viva Los Dodgers is a season-long celebration that occurs each Sunday of every Dodger homestand celebrating Hispanic culture in Los Angeles and the legacy of Latin American Dodger players past and present. Starting two hours prior to each Sunday’s game, fans can enjoy live music and a family-friendly celebration. The initiative culminates with La Gran Fiesta: Viva Los Dodgers on Saturday, Sept. 17. On Sunday, Los Reyes de Arranque, a regional Mexican group from Los Angeles that has been on the Regional Mexican Songs Billboard chart for 28 weeks, will perform.

Members of local Little Leagues, including La Crescenta Valley Little League, will parade around the warning track before the game.


The Jr. Dodgers Broadcast returns this season and Jr. Dodger Broadcasters will call the game from the Vin Scully Press Box. Fans can listen to the Jr. Dodgers Broadcast at www.dodgers.com/jrdodgers.

Following the game, children can participate in Kids Run the Bases.
