The top Dodgers prospects comes in to receive workouts at the stadium, classroom instructions and functions in the community.
Their first function was at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles.
Those that attended were Chris Withrow, Rubby De La Rosa, Ethan Martin, Aaron Miller, Nathan Eovaldi, Steven Ames, Luis Vasquez, Matt Wallach, Gorman Erickson, Justin Sellers, Dee Gordon, Kyle Russell, Jerry Sands and Pedro Baez.
The players were split into groups to visit patients in the 5th and 6th floor. I took the 5th floor. This floor is the Hematology/Oncology Division. The Division provides a full range of clinical services, including diagnosis and therapy for infants, children, and adolescent patients with cancer and blood diseases.

There is a teen lounge in the 5th floor. The teen lounge provides LCD TV, dvd players, Nintendo 64, Gamecube and Wii gaming systems.
Systems are on wheels so that they can be easily moved to the bedside of a patient in need.

A great event for these young players that will show them what's ahead in the big leagues. Later this week, they will be attending a Kings game and USC/UCLA Basketball game (Just noticed they went last night). They will also meet with Tommy Lasorda and Don Newcombe and learn from Dodger staffers about topics including media relations, diet and Major League travel.
