Hiroki Kuroda and Dodgers reach agreement

I like this deal because we are not committing too much. It's just a one year deal.

From the L.A. Times - {linked here}

The Dodgers are bringing back another member of their rotation after coming to terms with right-hander Hiroki Kuroda. Details of the agreement were not made public but it is believed to a be a one-year deal worth $12 million.

Kuroda, who will be 36 next season, passed a physical  Monday.

Kuroda, who was 11-13 with a 3.39  earned-run average in 2010, became a free agent after three seasons rather than six because of a clause in his contract. He is 28-30 with a 3.60 ERA since signing a three-year, $35.3-million contract before the 2008 season.

Nice. The pitching staff is pretty much set.
