Washington Nationals interested in Loney & Kemp

News around the web:
    The Nationals would have interest in targeting Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp in a trade if the Dodgers make him available, according to a baseball source. Their potential interest in Kemp and other outfielders on the free agent market shows the Nationals may be open to a creative solution should they not re-sign first baseman Adam Dunn.
    • Bill Ladson of MLB.com says the Washington Nationals might be interested in James Loney {MLB.com}
      James Loney: If he is available in a trade -- some in the Nationals organization believe that he could be -- look for Washington to go after him hard. He has been a consistent hitter the past three seasons with the Dodgers, averaging 12 home runs and 89 RBIs. One problem: whenever a trade is involved, look for opposing teams to ask for shortstop Ian Desmond or right-hander Jordan Zimmermann.

      I don't see the Dodgers trading Kemp just yet. I do think they are open in trading Loney. It's just a feeling that I have of Ned Colletti.
