President Obama "We hope the Dodgers do better next year"

As I mentioned last Wednesday, Joe Torre was going to visit the White House. {linked here}

President Barack Obama greets Torre in the East Room of the White House.

Torre and actress Mariska Hargitay walk out of the West Wing before talking with reporters after a Domestic Violence Awareness Month event at the White House. Hargitay is the founder of the Joyful Heart Foundation, an organization that aids survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse. U.S. President Barack Obama announced new and unprecedented cooperation between the departments of Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Justice, Treasury, Labor and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to protect victims of abuse and provide resources for families and communities to prevent abuse. Guests invited to the event included advocates, women's and fatherhood groups, faith leaders and law enforcement agencies.

What the heck is Vice President Joe Biden saying in the back? (Fast forward to 18:32)

In all seriousness, Torre is doing good things with his charity. :)
