It's official - Ted Lilly Signs

We already knew since last Saturday. But it's official now. Ted Lilly has signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers. It's a three year contract worth $33 million. Not worried to much on the money. I'm more worried about the length of this contract. Lilly will turn 35 years old this January and will be 37 by the end of this contract.

I do think they had to make this deal. Who else do they have? Just two starters in Clayton Kershaw and Chad Billingsley. I do wonder if the Dodgers couldn't get a two year contract instead?

Dodgers offer him a three contract and Lilly signs it right away. He doesn't even test the market.

The good news is that Lilly doesn't get injured. He's been healthy throughout his career. Let's hope for the best.
