No charges filed against Padilla

Press Conference is over.
Notes that I got from the Press Conference.

Allegations against Vicente Padilla were made earlier this morning. Denver Police will not make any charges against Padilla.

The woman called police. Spokeswoman won't talk about her statements. But does say there was not enough evidence to support the woman's statements.

The woman accused Padilla of domestic violence. It's a woman that Padilla knows.

Again, the police found no evidence to support the charges of the woman. City of Attorney handled this case.

One of the reporters asked "Why do a press conference?"

A spokesman said "We thought you'd be interested"

David Lane, attorney for Padilla also spoke at the Press Conference.

"A young lady, who knows Padilla, accused him of slapping her"

"The woman told police and me that he did not slap her"

"At first, she said Padilla slapped her then said it did not happen"

"Padilla received a lot of female attention at the club, meaning the woman was jealous"

"MLB contacted me around 5:30am to see what I can do"

"I don't know if I should bill the Dodgers"

What a weird day.
