THE YOUNG LEFTY – Dodger starter Clayton Kershaw has won three straight starts, lowering his ERA from 4.99 to 3.23 over those outings. Kershaw has gone at least 7.0 innings over those three starts, while posting an ERA of 0.83 (2 ER/22.1 IP). The left-hander ranks fourth in the NL with 10.0 strikeouts per nine innings and ranks ninth in batting average by opponents, limiting the opposition to a .209 mark.

ALL ABOUT THE ARMS – Los Angeles has won 12 of its last 14 games and since losing 8-0 to the Rockies on May 8, the Dodgers’ pitching staff has limited opponents to a .217 batting average (99-for-457) and posted a 2.79 ERA (39
ER/126.0 IP), both National League bests in that span. The Dodgers also rank second in the National League with 114 strikeouts since May 9.

ey roberto do you think the dodgers are making up these DL excuses?? ... because Rafael Furcal got activated but Sherril went to the DL ... and i remember when they wanted to bring back John Ely, Haeger also went to the DL... pretty suspicious lol

Most likely. I don't remember reading anything about Sherrill being injured...

Maybe they should come up with a 'we don't need you but we'll keep you just in case" List.

It does allow them to keep all their crappy veterans for a bit longer.

And it gets Sherrill and that gasoline can for an arm away from a while.
