Opening Day - Game Recap -

It was a great Opening Day. It really was. But I still think 2009 was better. It doesn't really matter. The Dodgers won and that's the important thing.

The po-po's were in full force.

I meant to shoot a video and I ended up with this picture. This band rocks. No, I'm serious.

No wait, Hilda? Brooklyn Hilda?

Justin Upton... "Kemp who!?"

The weather was great. Not too hot.

LeAnn Rimes sang the National Anthem (I'll upload the video tomorrow)

Video of the Starting Lineup introductions:

Manny Ramirez was everywhere...

Yes, he's still here and they are still playing the song. Don't stop believin!

Do you remember him? Pitched for the Dodgers once. Is now a broadcaster for the Diamondbacks. Still don't remember? Pitched a Knuckleball.

Tom Candiotti !

I left the stadium and saw this billboard. Joe Torre says "This Is My Town" (no, I don't plan on moving to NY)

Solo Home Runs by Manny Ramirez and Matt Kemp. A Two run shot by Casey Blake and a three run homer by Andre Ethier. It was a good day for the Sluggers.

Did you notice they would play a couple of songs of Rihanna?

Did you notice they showed a video and asked Kemp "Rihanna or Beyonce?" That was funny.

George Sherrill got a nice reaction from the crowd... Not really.

I didn't catch your names but it was nice meeting some of you.

I'm tired. I'll have more mañana!

Awesome pictures Roberto! I so wish I was there--but at least I got to see it on TV! Dodgers won so I'm happy!

Great pictures! Wow, thats crazy that someone dressed up like Hilda and the Brooklyn Bum. I wonder how many fans knew who they were.

Great Game. I had missed the last 3 Opening Days, and it felt like Christmas day all over again.

George Sherrill's introduction was met with a few Boo's and then silence. I've never heard a Dodger crowd so silent before

Manny Ramirez also got some boo's at the introductions.
