The Panda Is Everywhere

I remember seeing Pandas at the San Diego Zoo a couple of years ago with my wife. I was pumped to see these animals. Guess what? I didn't find them to be cute when I saw them up close. Live cam here...

Are the giant Pandas only in China or what?

Well I saw a Giant Panda for three straight days and I was getting tired of it. That's the Panda that makes a living as a Ballplayer for the San Francisco Giants, Pablo Sandoval.

He's everywhere. Isn't he suppose to be at Operation Panda ? {linked here}

Thursday - He's at a hockey game dropping a puck for the San Jose Sharks. {linked here}

Don't worry Dodger fans. Andre Ethier will be dropping the puck for the Kings game this Tuesday. {linked here}

Panda looks like he has drop some pounds. Sounds scary coming from a guy who had these stats .330/25/90

Friday - I was watching ESPN Deportes to get the latest from the Baseball Winter Leagues. There was a big fuss over Sandoval's return trip to Venezuela to play one important game. {linked here}

After dropping the puck, he flew (This Panda can fly) to Venezuela. At the airport, the Panda was put in a cage and taken by a Helicopter to get to the Baseball Stadium. It was going to take too long to get a Taxi.... Hey, it was a important game ! Watch this video:

All that trouble and they still lost the game:

The Giants third baseman made his "rescue" flight from the Bay Area to Caracas late Thursday night, after the Leones de Caracas tied up their seven-game series with the Navegantes del Magallanes at 3-3.

In the deciding game, Caracas topped Magallanes, 7-2. Sandoval finished 1-for-4 with a single.

"I did everything possible to be here," Sandoval said upon his homecoming. "I couldn't sleep on the plane, just thinking of playing at a Caracas-Magallanes game. {linked here}

I still got another Panda sighting...

Saturday: I was at a Bookstore and saw this...

You might be asking yourself "What's the problem Roberto?, it's just a Baseball mag"

Well no, it's not just a Baseball mag. The Sporting News does a Baseball Yearbook every year and depending where you live, you will get a local player on the cover. If you're in the L.A. area, you will see a Dodger or Angel player on the cover.

I promise you that I'm not in the Bay Area. This bookstore is located in L.A. County. I wanted to speak to the store manager but he wasn't available to comment on this.

I demanded answers but no one wanted to help me. I was curious to know who was on the cover for the L.A. region. Went online and found out that Matt Kemp and Kendry Morales are on the cover ! How is it possible that the Panda is in our territory ? Is the store manager a Giants fan and asked for the Bay Area region covers ?

Three reasons to boycott this magazine. First, they have the courage to sell this in L.A. County. Second, it's selling for $ 7.99 ! Are you serious ? Third, I checked out the predictions and their "experts" are saying that the Colorado Rockies are winning the N.L. West. The Dodgers will take 2nd place.

This is the cover that I should of seen last Saturday. Yeah, kinda cool to buy it just to get it signed by these two players. Other than that, stay away from the Sporting News !

Want to hear the good news ? No Panda sighting on Sunday.

Let me know if you see this at your local bookstore.
