I don't have a update from the Dodgers on this Patch. {linked here} But I got a e-mail from a reader, Chuy, who had this to say:Hi Robert, the Dodgers Patch to commemorate the 1955 season is going to happen. It's actually for sale already. There are a couple of places where you can buy it online (ebay, etc)
Along the patch, I got these facts:
This is the patch for the 2010 Los Angeles Dodgers to commemorate the team's 55th Anniversary as 1955 World Series Champions. 1955 was the 1st year the Dodgers won the World Series. It is the same patch the players will wear on field during the 2010 MLB season. The patch is fully embroidered and comes in nice packaging with the official MLB hologram.It measures approx 4 1/4" wide by 3" tall. I attached a photo of the Patch.
