Mexico is a very corrupted country. Experts are saying that the current President is doing a good job in fighting drug-cartels but they are still far away from being a peaceful country. Just ask new Dodger Luis Ayala {linked here}
Did anyone catch the story on Bobby Salced0 ? A School Board member from El Monte who was killed in Mexico. Looks like he was a big Dodger fan. R.I.P. Bobby.

El Monte, California (CNN) -- Thousands stuffed the bleachers on both sides of a California high school football field Monday night to remember a beloved teacher who was slain in Mexico a few days ago.
Grieving family members, friends and residents of El Monte, California, waved glowsticks in the air and listened to heartfelt stories about how Augustin Roberto "Bobby" Salcedo was a devoted family man and an inspirational educator. They heard, too, that he was a practical jokester who made people laugh.
Journey's "Don't Stop Believin' " blared on loudspeakers. And there was a quieter anthem: Salcedo's family sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" to honor the die-hard Dodgers fan.

That is simply sad.
Very sad.
Bobby and I were season ticket holders. Games will never be the same. One of our dreams was to see the Dodgers during spring training. Last year Bobby and I went to Arizona where he experienced his first and last spring training. Bobby is my brother. I will continue the tradition in his honor. Carlos.
Hi Carlos, I'm sorry for your loss. I happen to know that area (El Monte) pretty good and was upset to hear the news. Then I found out you guys were big Dodger fans. Just had to put the video on this blog...
God bless you and your family.
No problem. I wonder if the Dodgers would honor him in some way since they usually honor community heroes during the season. Bobby was a consistent volunteer and mentor to a lot of people. Any clue as to who I could contact?
Carlos
