Juan Pierre should be fine playing for the White Sox. The Dodgers needed to make this move and Pierre needed to play somewhere else. Dodgers are paying about half of his remaining salary. No word on what the Dodgers will be doing with the money that they will be saving.

theyll be using that money to pay for the divorce.
I wouldn't be surprised...
I'm so sick that they are losing Pierre. I'm so sick that the Divorce is taking center stage.
FIX THIS!!! :(
PIERWOOD!!!!!
Juanito is going to be missed.
i just tweeted you a photo of what me and my friends did during last season.
Pierreville>Mannywood

i dont think the dodgers are making the playoffs next season
thats good because the phillies are prolly gonna knock us out again.
@ Ken - I wouldn't count them out yet. I still like the Roster. Yeah it would of been awesome with some additions but what can you do? Frank is not going to do anything. Let's roll with what we have!
Pierre is the only winner in this trade. Can't say the White Sox farm system has anything worth getting excited over. I use to love to watch Juan play.He brought an exciting game to the field. He'll be missed by many. Let's go Dodgers! Down with the McCourts! Mannion?
This Pierre love is sickening.
I don't care how nice of a guy he is, that doesn't mean he's a great player. Which he's not. Not even close.
@ KempKershaw lol I appreciate Pierre more than Man-Ram. Yes both are different players but don't blame Pierre for his limited talent. Blame Colletti for giving him that fat contract in the first place. I'll always respect Pierre more than Man-Ram.
Respecting someone based on moral reasons is fine, but that shouldn't cloud a fan's mind on who helps the team more. And that isn't even close between Manny and Juan.
David Eckstein might be a better guy and teammate than Hanley Ramirez, but who do you want on your team?
