I watched this World Series between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies because I'm a Baseball fan. My Dodgers got knocked out by the Phillies in the NLCS but that wasn't going to stop me from watching the W.S.
While I didn't care who wins, I was still interested. I dislike both teams. I can care less about them. But it was a good series. It would of been awesome if they went to a Game 7
I was correct about my prediction, Yanks in 6. But I was wrong in the Home Runs total. I said 20 were going to be hit in this series. It was 18 Homers. I missed by 2 !

The Yanks have a $ 200 million payroll. You would expect them to win it, right? But they haven't won anything since 2000
They had a big payroll all those years and didn't win.

this was the first year that they went on a huge, huge spending spree. they went from not making the post season to signing the three biggest free agents available - not a chance they'd be there without sabbathia, burnett, and texiera.
