Missing Manny?

We were at home doing nothing. Then my wife decides that we need to leave the house because she wants to read a book and drink a coffee. Which means we were going to Barnes & Noble, which has a Starbucks inside.

mmmm ok.

I didn't really want to come. I was doing great doing nothing at home and just watch t.v. and surf the net :)

Since she was going to be reading a book...I decided to bring my laptop :)

While inside the B&N, I noticed a bunch of Michael Jackson magazines. Then right next to it I see a magazine with a awesome cover!

The latest Sporting News had a cover with Joe Torre on the front and Chad Billingsley, Matt Kemp, James Loney and Andre Ethier in the back. It seemed odd that the magazine was in the wrong section. I went to the Sports section and found a bunch.

I'm in love with this cover.... lol

The title of cover is "Missing Manny?" What a great concept shooting the young guys on the cover. I took a picture of it... Check it out!

Then she says "Ahhh someone is missing"

"Who?"

"Russell Martin"

Oh yeah. I didn't even noticed. That's weird. I know he's not doing that great this year but he is a two time All-Star. Plus he's the catcher! Very odd.

Don't think this is a two or three page article. It's seven pages full of pictures and interesting stories about the young Dodgers.

Then right after the article ends, the Sporting News ranks all 30 MLB Parks. I'm not going to post all 3o stadiums, but here is the top 10 MLB parks by the Sporting News....

1. Fenway Park
2. PNC Park
3. Wrigley Field
4. Camden Yards
5. AT&T Park
6. Kauffman Stadium
7. Safeco Field
8. Coors Field
9. Dodger Stadium
10. Yankee Stadium

I'm buying this mag. Get it. It would be a great one to get it all autographed by all five of them.
