Just a one game Freeway Series ? This schedule is weak. Then the next two against the Brewers (say hi to the Hebrew Hammer!) at Dodger Stadium and Giants over at Frisco ? I'm staying home...Some info for those that are going.
Jim Gott, (today) Ken Landreaux (or Rudy Law or Derrel Thomas, I don't know, I'm getting different answers) (Friday) and Bobby Castillo, (Saturday) will be signing autographs at the Autograph Alley. Not a great lineup but what can you do ? Players can change at the last moment.
Some info for those that are not going.
Thursday and Saturday games will be on tv. Ch. 9 There will be a 30 minute pre-game show before today's game. Think Blue TV with Gary Miller and Eric Karros will have a exclusive interview with Manny Ramirez.

This is the first time--since I was about 12!!!---that I have not gone to the Freeway Series game! It's always the BEST way to start the season! But, since I live 20 minutes from Anaheim Stadium and 2 hours from LA, I just can't do it on a Thursday night. Why aren't they playing in Anaheim this time??
Oh well, I will snuggle up in my jammies and watch it on TV. No hot dog, but no traffic out of the parking lot either!

Hi Julie, yeah it's weird. But they really don't care about the Freeway series anymore. Now they play during the season so it's not a big deal anymore. I was expecting a game at Anaheim also. It will be interesting to see next years spring schedule.
