Happy V-Day / Blog updates

Happy V-Day

Happy Valentines Day. I hope everyone has a good day with your loved ones. If you are going to the movies, let me recommend 'He's just not that into you'. My Wife and I saw this flick a couple of days ago and it was worth the price of admission. If you're taking a long time girl-friend to see it and you have NO intentions in getting married any time soon, DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE. You will get burned. Trust me. lol But in all seriousness, I hope everyone has a great night.

Blog Updates

The other day I was thinking about the kind of e-mails I receive from you. I get many e-mails that ask the same questions. I don't mind at all but I was thinking what if we publish these e-mails once a week so other readers can see the questions and answers. Sounds good ? Shoot me a e-mail and like always I will answer it as soon as possible. Then if I think it's a question that other readers might find it interesting, (or funny) I might publish it here for everyone to see. Let's put some examples here. The following are a couple of e-mails that I got within the last two days. I will copy and paste:

E-mail from Gus:

Hi Roberto, I bought tickets to see the Dodgers at Arizona the second week of March. You got any tips in obtaining autographs ? Thanks.

Answer: Hi Gus, unfortunately I don't have any tips. We don't know what to expect at this Spring Site since we've never been there. Frank McCourt has promised to have the same atmosphere as Vero Beach and to give great access for the fans. I think we are just going to have to learn together this year and learn from our success and mistakes. The only thing I can tell you is to always show up very early and just hang around the stadium. Ask other fans. Be polite and have fun.

E-mail from Rich:

Did you know that Dodger Blues hates you ?

Answer: Hi Rich, I thought they love me ? lol Thank you. (I get this e-mail often!)

E-mail from Michael:

Is Scully really your homeboy ? How did you get a picture with him ? (another e-mail I get often!)

Answer: Hi Mike, No. Vin Scully is not my "homeboy" I've only met him twice or three times in my life. I just thought it would be a clever name for this blog. As far as the picture, it was taken back in November of '07 at the new Dodgers Spring Training Site. Woke up at 3 am and drove 5 hours just to meet him.

So that's how we are going to do it. Good ? Don't worry, I won't post your last name or e-mail. Let's do it once a week. Not sure what day but stay tuned. Make sure to spellcheck.

Other things I wanted to share. Last month I signed up for Facebook for the first time. I enjoy it more than Myspace. I don't know why but I do. If you have Facebook and haven't added me, do it ! I'm always there and keep everyone updated when this blog has anything new. Thanks.

Dodger Blues does not hate VSIMHB.
We had a thread with some brilliant photoshopped pics. Putting Roberto in different places doing strange things. It was all in fun. Those of you that have no sense of humor. Please stay away.

What's up Mike ! Yeah I know, don't worry. I don't know if you knew, but I posted that thread and pictures 2 months ago. I thought it was funny. The one with Barry Bonds was great. Well I'll let you go, got to go pick up the strawberries... :)
